Meet Our Team

Gary J. Granger, O.D.

Dr. Gary GrangerGary J. Granger, O.D.  is a therapeutic optometrist and contact lens specialist. As a primary eye care physician, he performs comprehensive dilated eye exams for the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. He specializes in fitting contact lenses and providing eye care for the entire family. Dr. Granger’s interests include general medical eye care, specialty contact lens fittings, laser vision correction/glaucoma/ and cataract surgery co-management low vision and sports vision.

Dr. Granger was born and raised in Loreauville, Louisiana. He was on the Dean’s List and received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette with minor concentrations in both Mathematics and Biology.

He attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, where he graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Granger completed internships specializing in the management and treatment of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, soft and gas permeable contact lens fittings, laser vision correction, and preoperative and postoperative care for cataract surgery.

Dr. Granger is licensed by the Louisiana Board of Optometry Examiners to practice therapeutic optometry and has Courtesy Staff privileges in the Ophthalmology Department of LSU Health Sciences Center- University Medical Center.  He is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Optometry Association of Louisiana, the Gas Permeable Lens Institute and the Youngsville Chamber of Commerce. 

Dr. Granger and his wife Pam Gonzales-Granger (a Youngsville native) live in Youngsville and enjoy the proximity to family and friends new and old. While outside of the office, he enjoys gourmet cooking, occasional sailing at Cypremort Point, golfing and playing guitar as much as he can.  He currently performs locally with 3 bands—Stop The Clock ( western swing), Driving Sideways (Classic Rock) and The Gary Granger Project (Jazz/Blues/Fusion).

Anita Baudoin

Anita Gonzales Baudoin is a native of Youngsville and is the Optical Director for Granger Eye Studio.  She has over 24 years of experience in the optical industry and has worked with various local optical locations.

Married to Morty Baudoin, Anita enjoys working with people, attending health fairs, dining on local cuisine and creating floral crafts.  She enjoys watching sporting events, especially soccer, at The University of Louisiana @ Lafayette, where her son, Chance, plays.

“Providing an enjoyable experience at Granger Eye Studio, in an effort to improve and maintain healthy vision,” is Anita’s personal goal.

Pamela Gonzales-Granger, P.E.

Pam-GrangerPamela Gonzales-Granger is the Marketing Director for Granger Eye Studio. She is also a seasoned civil engineer with over 19 years of experience in modeling, design, master planning, project management, permitting, construction administration and marketing for drainage, roadway, utilities, site/civil, and restoration projects in Louisiana, Florida, Texas and Massachusetts.

Her marketing experience includes work for municipalities, state agencies, federal agencies such as the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), as well as private developers.
She has held leadership positions in organizations such as American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) the entire 19 years on local and state levels in Louisiana and Florida.

Ashlee Mancil

Ashlee  serves as the Ophthalmic assistant to Dr. Granger. She assists Dr. Granger with all patient medical care, taking patient histories, performing various diagnostic procedures, specialized testing and prepares all patients to see the doctor.  


Brook Regan

Brook is our new receptionist/optician assistant and she provides additional staff support for checking patient's in, helping with frame selection, ordering contact lenses, answering the phone and many other tasks.
